Joie Bauer is a classically trained actor with a BFA in Acting from the University of South Dakota. He made his New York stage debut in March 2008 as the Governor in The Man of La Mancha, at the Duo Theatre, music directed by Justine Levine of Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson. Resonance credits include: H4 directed by Allegra Libonati, The Glass House with Harris Yulin, nominated for a New York Innovative Theatre Award for Outstanding Ensemble (The Clurman / Theatre Row). Other NY credits: An Improvised Explosive Device: An MTV War Story (NY Fringe '11), They Call Him Young Lou (The Cherry Pit), Control (The Cherry Lane), Twelfth Night (Accidental Shakespeare), and West Lethargy (59E59 St. Theatre / Edinburgh Fringe '09 / NY Fringe '10).
